We are always glad when winter comes along. It is of course a great time to see the Northern lights, but what it really means is that it's time for fun!
Highland roads are closed and only accessible to super jeeps or snowmobiles. The adventure begins just as you leave Reykajvík, and if you want to get lost in the middle of nowhere, there is no better time.
In our mild summer months, temperature rises, melting the snow, making it perfect for water activities like rafting, river jets and kayaking. We are given access to more remote locations and incredible landscapes that are only open for a few months a year. Explore it by super jeep or on foot for days of hiking in surreal surroundings.
